Tour Plan
Arrival in Marrakech, pick-up at the airport, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Marrakech.
Departure for Casablanca. Arrival and visit of the country's economic capital, home to Morocco's most important port. Special attention will be paid to the seafront and the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque (the second largest in the world after Mecca, with a 210-meter-high minaret). We will continue to the kingdom's capital, the imperial city of Rabat. Overnight in Rabat.
City tour: starting with the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V with its unfinished mosque, and the Hassan Tower. Then, depart for Meknes, located at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. The tour begins with the walls, with its magnificent Bab Mansour gates, and ends at the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum-Mosque. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996 for its representative character of a historic capital of the 17th-century Maghreb. Departure for the city of Fez, where you will spend the night.
Visit to Fez, especially its medina and the artisans' quarter, especially the tanners' quarter. It is the oldest of the imperial cities and the spiritual center of the country. We begin with a panoramic tour from one of the surrounding hills. We depart for the Royal Palace with its monumental bronze gates. We cross the Mellah, or Jewish quarter, to enter the medina and then explore its streets on foot. We will visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and a Medersa. We will continue the tour through the artisans' quarter, highlighting the tanners' quarter, the spice market, the bustling souk, and the Nejarin Fountain. Overnight in Fez.
Departure from Fez, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and passing through Ifrane, known as the Swiss of Morocco, as well as the cedar forests surrounding Azrou. There, we can greet the friendly monkeys. We will pass through Midelt and continue to Erfoud, on the edge of the great Sahara Desert and the country's fossil capital. Overnight in Erfoud.
Departure to Tinghir to reach the Todra Gorges, offering panoramic views of several kasbahs. Erosion has created a narrow gorge with vertical walls over 300 meters high, well-known among climbers. We can take a beautiful walk following the course of the river. We will pass through the Valley of Roses at the foot of the High Atlas, where the cultivation of the rose flower that gives it its name is divided into two zones. The largest stretches for 30 kilometers, starting in the village of Keelat M'Gouna and ending in Bou Tharar. The landscape is worthwhile, nestled in a canyon. We will finally arrive in Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night.
We'll wake up in Ouarzazate, Morocco's Hollywood. We'll visit the film studios where numerous movies have been filmed, as well as the film museum and the Kasbah Taourirt, once the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. We'll then continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the location of several films such as The Mummy and Kingdom of Heaven . It was an ancient caravan stopover, allowing travelers to swap camels for horses and cross the mountains. Departure through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.
City tour: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, notable for their Carrara marble central vault, and the Bahia Palace. Jema el-Fnaa Square, declared a World Heritage Site. In the morning, vendors sell fruit, wicker baskets, sweets, and more. At nightfall, everything becomes fascinating when the square is illuminated with a thousand lights and everything seems magical. Overnight in Marrakech or transfer to the airport.

This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
